S. Gulin Evinc graduated from Hacettepe University Department of Psychology and received a masters degree in clinical psychology from the Middle East Technical University (METU). Her doctorate is ongoing at METU. She had worked in the field of special education between 2003-2004. She worked with children having developmental disorders and their families for psychological support and delivered play therapy. She has been working in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at Hacettepe University Medical School as a clinical psychologist since 2004. Her professional interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, disruptive behavior disorders and child abuse and neglect. She is a member of the Child Abuse and Neglect Team at Hacettepe University Children’s Hospital.
